Who we are

The Paul Bunyan Amateur Radio Club (PBARC) is a nonprofit club of licensed Amateur Radio Operators dedicated to advancing the art and science of radio communication.

What we do

  • Public Service & Emergency Communications
    We support local events, provide communications for parades and marathons, and assist local county and state agencies during emergencies.

  • SKYWARN® Storm Spotting
    In cooperation with the National Weather Service, our members help provide critical weather reports to protect our community. 

  • Education & Training
    We offer classes and license exams to help new and experienced hams expand their knowledge and skills. 

  • Community & Camaraderie
    From field day to monthly meetings, we enjoy contests, projects, and great fellowship.
